The all new Maserati Levante has blown in to our shores bringing buyers another choice in luzury SUVs.
Based on the sedan platform, the Levante is the brand's first SUV model and will offer three variants - the Levante Turbo Diesel, Sport and Luxury - all with a 202kW, 3.0 litre, V6 turbo diesel engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, Skyhook adjustable air suspension and Maserati's Q4 intelligent 2WD system.
New owners can enjoy five different drive modes, a ride range of eight centimeters for off-road use as well as a sumptuous leather interior, a human machine interface with large 8.4" touch screen and rotary control.
Pricing for the Maserati Levante starts from $139,990 and Chief Operating Officer Glen Sealey promises a good balance of on road and off road capabilities and the same Maserati drive.
"With the new Levante you can be assured of superlative style, performance, handling and road holding combined with unique levels of personalization and exclusivity so whether it is in the city or out in the bush, on a race track or a dirt track, the Levante is a true Maserati."
Behind the Wheel will be getting along to the launch of the Maserati Levante so look out for the first drive review.
